Setting up MS authenticator

These instructions ONLY applies to specific situations while setting up the Microsoft Authenticator.

Folks will often be stuck on the above screen (and it will often be expired). go back to the previous screen.

It is asking you to open the app, allow notifications, and then add an account. (if you do not have the Microsoft Authenticator app, download it from whatever app store your device supports). That is either hitting a plus sign top right, or more often, it will be prompting you to ‘add an account’ right in the middle of the screen.

Do that. Select ‘use QR code’ when prompted THEN hit next to go to the screen with the QR code. (it will generate a new qr code that is not timed out). Scan that qr code within the Microsoft Authenticator app (and during the set up a new account process). It should report a success and an account with your pwpsd email will be set up.
