At times, the pictures uploaded to the OneLan system will appear sideways on the TVs. This article outlines how to fix the pictures so they appear upright.

To perform these steps, you must first install the program “Irfanview”. It can be downloaded here:
https://www.irfanview.com/main_download_engl.htm - click “Download from Fosshub”
Install using default settings.

Instructions

  1. Open the program: “Irfanview Thumbnails” (Irfanview64 Thumbnails if 64bit version installed)

  2. In the left pane, navigate to the folder containing the images to rotate

  3. In the right pane, select all of the images to be rotated

  4. In the top menu bar, go to File → JPG Lossless Operations → Lossless rotation with selected files…

    1. There is a shortcut instead of clicking through the menus, it is “Shift + J”

  5. There are many options here, all that needs to be changed is picking “Auto-rotate” in the Transformation section.

  6. Click “Start”. In the program and in Windows, it may look like nothing has happened. That is because they “auto rotated” when viewing them already. When you upload the pictures to the OneLan system now, they will be upright.
