For students to log onto the accounts, they must completely log out of their own account and then click ‘Add Person’. The next step depends on the version of ChromeOS.
- If Chrome v96, they click the blue ‘Sign in with a different account’ link
- If Chrome v100 or higher, they click the They then click the ‘Enter Google account info' at the bottom right.
There are two account types, the standard accounts like ‘pwae005@s.pwpsd.ca’ and the accommodation accounts like ‘pwaacc005@s.pwpsd.ca’. The latter allows text to speech, speech to text, and will have the relevant MP3 files accessible in the ‘Shared with me’ section of Google Drive. These MP3s can be played using the blue ‘Files’ app, and the spreadsheet containing all the usernames and passwords has notes indicating which acc accounts will have which MP3s.
