Part One: Windows Settings

Part One: Check that Windows has the proper display set at the main display.

For smartboards, interactive projectors, and interactive TVs.

In the start menu search bar, find and open CONTROL PANEL

Choose Touch Input, and follow the on-screen instructions (Usually hitting Enter) to get the the message onto the touch-enabled screen, and touch that screen or press

Part Two: SMART Settings

  • For SMARTBoards/TVs

  • Check that the SMART software has the proper display set.

For SMART brand products.

  • Depending on your board/TV model, find and press the “Orient” button (or launch the software in Windows)

  • Follow the on-screen instructions (usually hitting Space) to switch the screen with the orientation markers to the screen you want the ink to write on.

  • Finish the Orientation/Align the Pens: Tap the pen in the center of the 4 or 9 <+> symbols that appear on screen, one at a time.

This step is also useful at any point if the pen ink is not writing exactly where you are drawing/pressing.

  • A full computer restart should make sure these settings stick.

  • For Other Interactive Screens (ViewBoards, Epson Interactive Projectors, etc.)

  • Check that Windows has the proper display set at the main display.
