How to make Chrome your Default Browser

We try really hard to make Chrome the default, but Microsoft if Microsoft, so sometimes they change things just because.

Hereā€™s how you change it back.

In Windows 11

  • Way #1:

    • Open Chrome, and you might see this message. Click the blue button.

      • On the next screen, click Set Default

  • Way #2:

    • Open Chrome, and look for the tab at the top, between your bookmarks and webpage, with the same Set Default Blue button, and click it:

    • Then click the Set Default button.

  • Way #3

    • In the Windows Search box, type ā€œDefault Appsā€ and click it.

    • In the box for Application, type Chrome, and click Google Chrome

    • At the top, hit Set Default.
