Milestone - Exporting Video

  1. Open the Milestone App and log in

  2. Go to "Playback" at the top left

  3. Choose the specific camera you want footage from (should be the only camera in the view)

  4. Click "Set Start/End Time" near the bottom left

  5. Set the start date and time and end date and time desired for the exported video. Do not make this too large or the resulting file will be huge.

  6. Be sure that "Media player format" is checked, and "XProtect format" is unchecked.

    1. Under Media Player Format, choose MKV, or the resulting file will also be huge.

  7. Click "Export" at the bottom right, then "Export..."

  8. Enter a descriptive file name, and choose the destination for the video file.
